Queen Elizabeth II
80th Birthday Commemoration Bear
In recognition of this important year we have produced two further bears to add to our popular Royal Collection and Commemoration Bears.

There are two sizes to choose from, each with its own particular charm and character, one is a 14 inch teddy bear and the other is 8 inches. Both are made in runs of only 20 pieces. Each bear is complemented by a gold coloured, cloisonné style crown pendant; it is die struck like a coin and hand finished in hard enamel.

A little more about the Crown Pendant:
The St. Edward’s Crown pendant has been specially commissioned for this unique occasion from a well known English medal maker, employing the time honoured traditions and techniques of hard enamelling in the cloisonné style, resulting in a beautiful die struck, hand finished representation of the royal crown used for Queen Elizabeth’s coronation. Underneath the crown is a date tab picked out in Royal Blue enamel showing the span of her unique and memorable years. The crown has been used for coronations since 1661, starting with King Charles II and is said to contain gold from the crown of St. Edward the Confessor, who reigned in the eleventh century.
