Limited Edition bears

“Limited editions” are special bears that are usually made to a theme and are always complicated to produce and therefore very time consuming. This could be a single bear or a family of two or more bears, depending on the theme. A theme could be anything from a Royal Collection – see William & Kate or the Queen Mother on this page as examples – or it could be something theatrical such as Gilbert & Sullivan. Sometimes a limited edition bear could be because the materials used are an unusual combination, colour or finish.

Bedford Bears limited editions could be a one-off bear and sometimes there could be as many as ten bears but once they are sold and living comfortably with their new collector they are gone and never to be repeated.
